“Quair Feb 2021”

There is something unique and thrilling, yet so peaceful, about being on a mountain in Scotland in Winter crunching through snow with a biting wind in your face. Exposed to all the elements and no one around. Not a single track to follow on your way to the top all of them covered by deep, fresh soft snow. The walk itself was very pleasant even though we had multiple falls into deep snow. Once we reached the top the view was just spectacular. After a year of restrictions, working from home and prevented from travelling the sense of hope and new beginning was overwhelming.

Daniels Tips and Tricks

The steps through the snow caught my attention and gave me a leading line to the summit. Together with the subject ( my beautiful wife) appearing in the centre this helped balance and complete the image for me.

On our descent we were treated to an amazing sunset over the mountains. The perfect day.
